VerbES
VerbES synchronization introduced
Poll: Do you use the synchronization feature?
Yes
No

We are glad to announce that VerbES rev 30 will support synchronization between devices.

How synchronization will work
You will need to sign-in with your Google account, that you should already have registered on your device. If sign-in is successful VerbES will start sending to our server all of your saved verbs, verb lists, personal notes and quiz results. When you install VerbES on other devices and sign-in on them, all stored data will be fetched from the server and restored.

What are the benefits
The biggest benefit is that all your devices will have your data automatically populated. This means that if for example you have VerbES installed on your phone and your tablet, and you sign-in on both devices whatever you do on one of the devices will automatically appear on the other.

What do I need to have it running
You must have a Google account, which most probably you already do. The other requirement is that you subscribe to VerbES Plus, which is a service giving you access to all premium features that currently are available and that will become available in future versions. VerbES Plus offers you flexible plans and prices as low as 99 cents/month. Free TRIAL is provided to evaluate the service.

How to enable
Tap Menu icon on the main screen and then select Synchornization.

Now you need to sign-in with your Google account. This is quite easy and straight forward process. You won't need to register in anyway, you synchronization registration will be created immediately after you successfully authenticate with the selected Google account.

When signed-in, you will be presented with the synchronization overview and options screen.

This screen would display the account you are currently using, last status message revealing what has happened when VerbES last tried to synchronize.

In addition you have two options that you can use if desired:

Automatic synchronization
On by default. Ensures that your data is automatically communicated with the server without any actions needed from your side. Disable only if you are getting some abnormal behavior from the app.

Enable data compression
If you have a lot of verb lists, personal notes and saved verbs, this could be a substantial amount of traffic. Compression can help you to reduce the size of the synchronization packages by more than 50%, thus saving you data traffic. If you start getting error messages that synchronization is unsuccessful, please disable compression.

Manual synchronization
You can transmit your data manually. Use these options in case automatic synchronization is turned off to ensure that you have safe backup of your data. Right after backup and restore, the status message will be updated to tell you what has happened.
